ORANGES ON A WALK / arance in una passeggiata

My collaborator, Laurence von Lignau and I, would start each day eating oranges for breakfast. We started to preserve the rinds, skewering them and drying them over the radiator in our room. We would also take long daily walks together, to better understand the city. To commemorate our time together, we made a map to visualize how many places we had explored in the city. The smaller rind pieces show where we explored, and the larger pieces show Rome not yet known to us.

The work was shown in a group show called Eruption in Bibliothe Gallery in Rome.
